Teachers Everywhere: towards a River Curriculum

Spring College at the Biomimicry and Bio-Inspired Innovation Conference on embodied ways of learning.

Our dominant ways of making sense of the world and acting in the world, structurally degrades, destroys and pollutes. How can we learn to adopt a way of thinking and doing that is aligned with the integrity of our living systems? With her nomadic school Spring College, Li An initiates a walking pedagogy with outdoor learning taking participants on inner & outer trails. She designs a River Curriculum taking people along rivers to experience what we can learn from rivers and to research how we can live together towards Drinkable Rivers. In this outdoor session in neighboring botanical garden, Li An will share her experiences and together we will explore new ways of learning.img_9730
