‘The Rooting & Sprouting of a Landscape’

In a landscape of the ‘Peace & Happiness’ (Rust en Vreugd) Estate in Wassenaar, together with a tree expert and landscape architect Huib Sneep & Li An Phoa, we experienced:

–      a relatively untouched landscape since at least the Middle AgesIMG_7066

–      how trees root, plants and trees sprout

–       how individual trees form a forest;

–       how trees continuously adapt to the landscape of which they are a part of, from which they will never be able to escape;

–       and how trees speak a body language.

What if we can start noticing the trees’ processes, the adaptations they make and their body language? We will discover how rooting and sprouting of a landscape can start to reflect our own rooting and sprouting in our daily lives and in the world. Everyone is welcome to join us.
